CAMUT BAND
presents
Keatoniana

A show which permits the coexistence of cinema, music, percussion and dance, immersing the audience in the poetic dream world that Buster Keaton left us in the film “Sherlock Junior" (1924).

Jordi Sabatés creates a new way of setting music for silent films, not only does it accompany the scene but also enters into a dialogue with the characters. The music tries to explain what images can not.

Camut Band proposes a radical update of tap-dancing, tapping on huge film reels.

“A magnificent tribute to the cinema genius, respectful and full of rhythm, with which the artists provoke the desire to jump on stage dancing to its sounds rousing great applause from the public “
